Location	Near Nîmes and less than 1 hour away from the Marseille and Montpellier airports. Avignon train station is 35 Kms away. One and a half hour drive from the sea coast.
Setting	Protected behind its thick stone walls, the Château has all the sweet and secret charm of a Provencal stately home. Surrounded by a park with hundred year old trees.
Activities	Golf, horse back riding, wine tasting, canoeing, balloon flights. Uzès has lovely shops and a lively atmosphere. Avignon is close by and so is Provence.
Exterior	18th century Provencal home built of stone. A wide park surrounds it with a pool in the back garden, fresh green grass and a forest circling around it. There are 2 terraces, one overlooking the pool and the other in the courtyard. White umbrellas and comfortable, yet stylish, terrace furniture welcome you under the warm sun of Provence.
Interior	Antique furniture. Decorated with taste and typical colours of the French Provincial style.
Facilities	Restaurant, pool, ping pong, tennis, walks in the park.
Accommodations	27 rooms and 2 suites with warm provincial colours and antique furniture. All modern amenities. Some have balconies and private sheltered gardens. 65 guests can be accommodated in the rooms.
Receptions	Several reception halls. Private dining rooms for 2 and larger halls for dining and dancing. Up to 150 guests.

Unique characteristics of this historical Languedoc-Roussillon Château 

This historical Château with its wonderful setting in the heart of the Uzès countryside is a perfect romantic hideaway.

First restored in the 18th century and again recently, this aristocratic dwelling has always been associated with literature, music and art. Marie de Flavigny and Franz Listz’s lived here for a while. Their daughter Cosima became Wagner’s second wife and lived at the Château.

This castle is not just a place of past, but an elegant, old-world residence offering modern day comforts. The courtyard garden is beautiful and the area around the pool, surrounded by trees, is the perfect place to relax. Among the many places of interest to visit are the Pont du Gard site and the Nimes Roman aqueduct..
