In its time the city of Amboise was the jewel of the French Royalty, boasting natural beauty. Perched atop the terraced slopes overlooking the great Loire River, numerous towers bear witness to its past role as a stronghold. It was not until the Renaissance that the Château became a place of residence and was one of the first Châteaux to be opened to guests, offering an inimitable art de vivre in a unique setting steeped with history. |

The greater part of the Château was constructed in the 14th century with renovations constantly bettering the facilities and antique decorations. The tiled floors on the first floor are amazing as well as the fireplace decorated by ceramic tiles depicting mythological tales. |

The charming and spacious rooms are beautifully decorated with antiques. The four posted canopy beds are always a nice touch. There are 19 available bedrooms. |

Lovely restaurant with dishes made with fresh produce and herbs from the Château garden. Menu prices are quite reasonable. Larger weddings would have the banquet dinner in a separate building and the smaller parties of up to 30 could be served in the "tea room" of the hotel. |

The manager of the hotel is extremely accommodating and will do everything in her power to make sure that your wedding is enjoyable and pleasant.
They can prepare an after-wedding brunch the next day. Monday and Tuesday the restaurant is closed so there is more flexibility here for the use of the smaller dining rooms.
