Symbolic Weddings in France

Couples not wanting to work through all the legal paperwork but still wishing to hold a romantic destination wedding in France with all the trimmings can plan a symbolic wedding.  The format is the same as it would be in your home country except that it is not legally binding.

A symbolic wedding is:

• No restrictions on the location, even outdoors.
• Ceremony not given by a member of the religious community or government.
• Ceremony performed by an English speaking officiant.
• No civil marriage requirements, no paperwork.
• You choose the style and format.
• Symbolic certificate, in hand calligraphy.
• Includes services you wish to incorporate such as a soloist or flowers.
